Office of Strategic Communication

University Communications is housed under the Office of Strategic Communication, whose two areas of focus offer a variety of services and programs for the university community, news media, alumni, parents, community and government leaders, and the general public. These units, University Communications and University Marketing, work collaboratively and creatively on projects designed to increase awareness of the university among a variety of constituents. The Office of Strategic Communication also fosters partnerships with affiliate organizations, the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni AssociationWisconsin Alumni Research Foundation and UW Health, as well as our many UW–Madison schools and colleges.
