About us

We are a full-service communications office, offering assistance in news management, media relations, writing and editing, publications management, graphic design, Web design, online communication, marketing and special events.

As the central communications office for campus, University Communications is uniquely positioned to provide clients with an institutional perspective. We help you leverage the power of the university for your individual unit or initiative.

University Communications was formed in 2000 from the merger of the Office of Publications and the Office of News and Public Affairs. Amy Toburen leads the office, which has locations in Bascom Hall and on the second level of the University Book Store on Library Mall.
